As we step into 2026, I’ve been reflecting on 2025 at Sedai.
This wasn’t a year of experimentation. It was a year of execution. In 2025, autonomous cloud optimization was proven, in production, at massive scale.
The results speak for themselves:
8 Million Autonomous Actions. Zero Incidents.
2025 was the year engineering leaders chose autonomy over automation for cloud operations. It marked a clear shift in where the industry is headed.
There’s a misconception in our industry that automation and autonomy are the same thing. They are not. Automated cloud optimization relies on static rules, which inevitably break when real-world behavior changes. In complex production environments, automated systems create a serious risk of availability issues and performance degradation.
Truly autonomous systems are different. They adapt continuously to what’s happening in production — and keep your systems running at peak performance and efficiency as conditions change.
In 2025, Sedai operated autonomously across five global enterprises and 11 industries, executing 8 million autonomous actions with zero incidents.That’s not an empty marketing promise. That’s real data.
Sedai managed each customer’s unique infrastructure and constraints, optimizing across cost, performance, and availability. Customers got measurable outcomes and built real operational trust.
Today, Sedai is the only system operating with true autonomy in prod. While automation has been useful in the past, it’s inherently riskier, fragile, and becoming obsolete.
This past year, Sedai became the only solution to provide safe, pure autonomy that deeply understands our customers’ systems and delivers real cloud savings.

I can’t talk about the past year without mentioning how our team is continuously building and bettering Sedai.
Everything we build at Sedai starts with feedback from our customers, and in 2025, we released a slew of new features & solutions to meet those needs:
- New Kubernetes Capabilities. Added cluster compaction, cost attribution beyond compute, custom SLOs, and in-place pod rightsizing.

We Received Strong Market Validation
As results scaled, validation followed.
In 2025, Sedai appeared in 18 Gartner Hype Cycles, 12 Gartner technical reports, and was recognized in Forrester’s Cloud Cost Optimization report.
Additionally, Sedai was recognized with two major industry honors:
- Being named a Leader and Outperformer in the GigaOm 2025 Radar for Kubernetes Resource Management
- Awarded the Top Cloud Cost Optimization Platform by CIOReview
Across analysts and enterprises, the signal was clear: the market is moving from automation to autonomous systems trusted in production.
We Raised our Series B
2025 was also the year we closed our Series B. This round was led by Atlantic Vantage Point, with participation from Norwest Venture Partners, Sierra Ventures, and Uncorrelated Ventures.
Going into this round of funding, our focus was simple: scale systems already driving results without compromising accuracy or trust.
With this funding, we can continue to provide safe and effective autonomy in 2026 as we expand Sedai’s capabilities through self-tuning for LLM-based apps, autonomous GPU optimization, and AI-powered orchestration.
We Received Our Eighth Patent
And finally, we received our eighth U.S. patent, showing the world that Sedai doesn’t just innovate, we build on a solid & safe foundation.
This patent protects what makes Sedai’s autonomy both powerful and reliable, so Sedai can operate continuously, responsibly, and at enterprise scale.
Looking Ahead at Sedai in 2026
With the success of 2025, we’re starting 2026 with three main goals:
- Broader enterprise adoption
- Deeper autonomy
- Scaling outcomes without scaling human effort
We’ve proven the foundation is solid. Now is the time to execute and scale.
